Rearview Mirror

I was caught between the song by Kesha called Pray and the quote “the weak can never forgive, forgiveness is the attribute of the strong”.

If you know the song or if you don’t listen to it before reading the rest of this. As you will understand it better.
The line in the song states “But some things only God can forgive”

Have you ever been here? I myself have been here a time or two, probably three or four, who’s kidding who, countless times. We overthink or as I like to say we mind fuck ourselves.

I am grateful for all the experiences I have had in my life and I have no regrets. Life is entirely too short to think about what happened in the past I do my very best, because I mind fuck myself too, and do my best to think about my future verse the past or even the current place I am because I know my current situation is not my final destination.

I recently had a conversation about where is it that I’m going to park my helicopter. Will it be on the lawn? Or will I have it on the roof? These are the types of conversations that we should be having. The conversation of where we are going, not where we have been.

It is a mindset. And is certainly more of a challenge than one would think. However it is absolutely worth your while. There is a reason there is a rearview mirror in a car it is to see where you have been not where it is that you were going.

Training yourself to always reach for the stars because that will help you get rid of your scars.
We all know that scars come with stories just like tattoos. They are part of our story, they are part of our history. I am now creating my future with the scars that I have on my body and the tattoos that I have on my body.

I pray my family find peace within themselves. I pray I continue to find peace within myself. I’ve learned with many many lessons that kept repeating themselves because I had not learned.

I am grateful, simply grateful, amazingly grateful, I am grateful. I say this to myself multiple times a day.

I am stronger than I think I am and so are you.

Forgiveness? God has forgiven me and I have forgiven myself. I as well as you need not be concerned whether someone else is forgiven that is between them and God.

Once I made peace with that, I was able to attract the right people at the right time in my life. Once you do, you will too. You have to be open just enough for it to count. Then put your hopes and your dreams into action. That helicopter I mentioned I will also have to either become a pilot or hire someone to fly it for me.
