It Is Ok

imageOver the last 6 months my life has been turned upside down, upside right, then upside down again then upside right. Rightfully so.
Lifestyle changes, family changes, and personal growth.

I took some time for myself and paused and wrote myself an “it is ok” letter.

For those of you that know me know I am not much of a typist or pen to paper kind of gal. So me handwriting was out of my comfort zone. I can’t believe pens are even still sold with how much things are done online now. Nevertheless I did it.

After reflecting on what I wrote I understood myself more and forgave myself for all the wrong I may have done to myself and to others in my life. God had already forgiven me it was time I forgave myself.

By doing this simple yet complicated letter to myself 2 handwritten pages in red ink, my new favorite color, it gave me the courage I needed to move forward. My pausing, my reflecting and my moving forward will not look like yours. As we are all have different and have different stories. It is what is needed. Things are as they are based upon each decision we have made in the past. It is up to us to move forward.

I encourage you today to take the time for yourself to forgive you and all you think you have done to others more important yourself. Write yourself an “it is ok” letter.

Those 6 letters can change your life.
